Food Service Director
Planning, supervising, coordinating, and directing all three components of the food service operations at MADA: Food Bank, Kitchen, and Warehouse as well as managing the procurement department.
Oversee Food Bank manager in managing inventory in the food bank, order management, staff and volunteers, order distribution (in house and delivery), quality control, protection of assets. Ensure new products are added to order form and old ones are removed. Ensure order forms go out on time on a monthly basis.
Oversee the Kitchen Manager in all his tasks which include preparation and distribution of meals, meal scheduling, managing staff, cleanliness, safety and Kashrut.
Oversee the Warehouse Manager in all his tasks including Inventory management, receiving and shipping, order management, manage staff, health and safety, processes and procedures, quality control, kashrut.
Volunteer Coordinator for Seniors
Coordinate volunteer projects in person for seniors at MADA including preparation, packing, and delivering of meals all while respecting COVID protocols
Organize a collective kitchen, cooking and nutrition workshops virtually and in person
Organize remote volunteering for seniors in residences
Knowledge of the Jewish Community and Kosher laws
Dynamic personality, ability to connect with Seniors
Previous experience working with Seniors or in a Volunteering role
This is a 1 year position with possibility of permanence.
