Shabbat to Share
Once again Solomon Schechter Academy helped MADA with a special mitzvah project. Last Friday morning Solomon Schechter hosted its annual Grandparents’ Day in the main sanctuary of Shaare Zion Synagogue.
This year grades 1 through 6 invited their Bubbies and Zaidies, Sabbas and Saftas , Grandmas and Grandpas to help create special gifts for our Shabbat to Share recipients. Over 550 vases were decorated and cards were written to help welcome Shabbat into our clients’ homes. These gifts will be distributed along with their weekly MADA Shabbat to Share meals and flowers. Kol hakavod to all who participated.
